Biology ECT Opportunity at a High-Achieving School inReading

A high-achieving 11–18 school in Reading, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Biology ECT to join their Science Department on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026. About the Role The successful teacher will teach Biology from KS3–KS5 , delivering lessons that combine theory with experimentation, research, and fieldwork. They will inspire students to think critically about living systems and develop an appreciation for science as an ever-evolving discipline. They will also participate in STEM outreach, ecological projects, and science week events , helping students see the broader impact of Biology in areas such as conservation, medicine, and sustainability.
