SEN Teacher – Friendly Specialist School – Hackney Role: SEN Teacher Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: April 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) A friendly and welcoming specialist school is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team in April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real impact on students with special educational needs, providing them with the tailored support they need to succeed. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a friendly specialist school Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students with a variety of SEN Work closely with a supportive team of professionals to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs) Use creative and effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students Promote inclusion, confidence, and independence in the classroom Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support Track and monitor student progress, ensuring targeted interventions are in place Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting A strong understanding of SEND frameworks, IEPs, and inclusive teaching practices Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
