Biology Teacher – Girls’ Secondary School in Wandsworth (January Start) Location: Wandsworth Start Date: January Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This high-achieving girls’ secondary school in Wandsworth is known for its strong academic outcomes, supportive pastoral systems, and calm, purposeful learning environment. Role Information The school is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join its successful Science Faculty from January. The role involves teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 , with A Level Biology available for experienced teachers. You will deliver lessons that combine strong subject knowledge with practical experimentation and real-world scientific application. The department places a strong emphasis on scientific literacy, investigative skills, and exam preparation. The Science Faculty is well-established and collaborative, with shared planning, regular moderation, and a strong culture of mentoring and support. Teachers are encouraged to develop innovative teaching methods and contribute to enrichment activities such as science clubs and STEM events.
