Job description
A thriving and inclusive comprehensive school in Abingdon is seeking a passionate and committed Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to lead a vibrant department. The MFL department plays a key role in the school’s commitment to global citizenship, offering a range of language options and cultural experiences to inspire students of all abilities. The Role As Head of MFL , you will: Oversee the strategic development of the MFL department, ensuring engaging and accessible lessons for all learners. Teach French, Spanish, or German at KS3, GCSE, and potentially A-Level. Implement strategies to improve engagement and attainment, ensuring students achieve their full potential. Lead language-focused extracurricular activities, including international trips, cultural events, and language clubs. Support a team of enthusiastic teachers, ensuring high-quality instruction across all year groups. Why Join This School?
