Job description
Are you looking to support a thriving Science department in an outstanding school? A well-established secondary school in Buckingham is looking to appoint a Science Technician for a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026 . You will support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3, KS4, and KS5 . Science Technician Full time January 2026 start Supporting KS3/4/5 Well-resourced Science department School Information This mixed secondary school, rated ‘Outstanding’ , educates around 1,300 students aged 11–18 and is known for its warm, community-driven ethos and strong academic outcomes. The location offers great transport links to Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Bicester, and surrounding towns. The Science department benefits from modern laboratories, industry-standard equipment, prep rooms, and robust safety procedures . The Science Technician will ensure practical lessons are well-prepared, equipment is safely maintained, and stock levels are managed effectively. Experience and Qualifications Previous Science Technician or lab-based experience Knowledge of lab safety and COSHH regulations Science qualification preferred Excellent organisational and communication skills Salary This Science Technician post offers a competitive salary , paid on a direct contract.
