About the School An ambitious and high-performing 11–18 school in Basingstoke is seeking an innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join their Creative Technologies Department from January 2026. The school has 1,350 pupils, a Progress 8 score of +0.62, and a national reputation for excellence in STEM education. About the Role This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design or Engineering. Lessons are practical, creative, and focused on sustainability, with students encouraged to design solutions to real-world problems. The department is equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, and a full CAD/CAM suite. Collaboration between DT, Science, and Computer Science ensures a modern, forward-thinking approach to learning.
