Job description
About the School A highly regarded 11–18 school in Bath, recognised for its outstanding SEND and pastoral provision, is seeking an experienced SENCO from January 2026. The school educates 1,200 pupils and maintains a Progress 8 score of +0.55. With a culture of collaboration and care, it provides an exceptional environment for both students and staff to excel. About the Role This full-time, permanent position involves leading the school’s inclusive learning strategy. The SENCO will manage the SEND team, oversee EHCPs, and liaise with families and outside agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students. The postholder will also contribute to teaching, coaching staff in adaptive practices, and embedding inclusive strategies across departments. The school’s Inclusion Centre features modern intervention rooms, accessible classrooms, and sensory support areas.
