Job description
Our client, a well-regarded mainstream school in Wolverhampton, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join their team from April. This is a full-time, temporary position teaching PE to students from KS3 to KS5, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Information: Position: Physical Education Teacher Teaching: PE to KS3 and KS5 Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time Start Date: April 2025 Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Competitive, based on experience School Information The school is known for its commitment to high academic standards and the development of students’ physical and mental well-being. The PE department is a key area of the school, focusing on creating an engaging and inclusive curriculum that encourages students to be active, healthy, and motivated. This is an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher looking to make a real difference in a supportive and collaborative environment. Role Responsibilities Teach Physical Education to KS3 and KS5 students, preparing them for their GCSE and A-Level exams. Deliver engaging and varied lessons that encourage students to develop a love for physical activity and improve their skills. Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, including sports teams and events. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential. Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a high standard of teaching and learning within the PE department. Essential Requirements A degree in Physical Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching PE to KS3 and KS5 students. Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and exam specifications. Ability to inspire and engage students in physical activity and sports. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Why Join Us?
