Health & Social Care Teacher - Kingston Secondary School - Make a Real Difference Are you a passionate and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher looking to inspire the next generation? We are seeking an enthusiastic Health & Social Care Teacher to join our supportive and innovative secondary school in Kingston upon Thames. At, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century. Our Health & Social Care department plays a vital role in fostering students' understanding of health, wellbeing, and social care issues. About the Health & Social Care Teacher Role: As a Health & Social Care Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and real-world applications of the subject. You will play a key role in shaping young minds and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their own health and wellbeing, and to contribute positively to society. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Health & Social Care lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Health & Social Care concepts and develop their understanding of health and wellbeing. Assess and monitor student progress in Health & Social Care , providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Health & Social Care curriculum and departmental resources. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Health & Social Care and incorporate real-world examples into your teaching. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Health & Social Care teaching. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Health & Social Care or a related field. Experience teaching Health & Social Care at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Health & Social Care . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
