A highly regarded Independent Preparatory School in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join its team from January 2026 . The Role As a KS1 Teacher, you will play an integral role in shaping the learning journey of young pupils, fostering a love of learning through engaging and well-planned lessons. You will: Teach a dynamic and creative KS1 curriculum that promotes both academic achievement and personal growth. Provide a supportive and stimulating classroom environment tailored to individual learning needs. Track and assess pupil progress, providing insightful feedback to pupils and parents. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and co-curricular opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and maintain the school’s high standards. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 , ideally in an independent or high-achieving primary setting. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
