Job description
Our client is seeking a Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bradford , starting January . Science Teacher required on a full-time basis Ofsted Good secondary school in Bradford Excellent opportunity to join a successful, well-resourced Science department This position is available for a January start. The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3–KS4 (with KS5 desirable), working within a collaborative and supportive department. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, ambitious curriculum, and high standards of teaching and learning. Students are engaged and motivated, and behaviour is consistently positive. Experience and Qualifications Science Teacher (specialism in Biology/Chemistry/Physics welcomed) An enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner Excellent subject knowledge and commitment to practical, enquiry-based learning QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) Legal right to work in the UK School Information This thriving 11–16 mixed secondary (approximately 1,150 students ) is rated Good by Ofsted and recognised for strong academic outcomes, a safe and inclusive environment, and a broad curriculum that inspires students to achieve their best. The Science department is well-resourced— modern laboratories , prep rooms , and data-logging/ICT —and staff benefit from a strong culture of collaboration, CPD opportunities , and supportive leadership. Over 70% of students achieve grades 9–4 in Combined Science , with strong Triple Science uptake and outcomes (9–7) Positive pupil behaviour and engagement across the school Excellent facilities and dedicated support for staff development Salary Paid to scale on MPS/UPS .
