Assistant SENCo – Inspiring Primary School – Wandsworth Role: Assistant SENCo Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: ASAP Salary: Dependent on Experience An outstanding primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant SENCo to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and contributing to the development of an inclusive and high-quality learning environment. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a well-regarded primary school in Wandsworth Assist the SENCo in the development and implementation of SEN provision across the school Support the planning and delivery of tailored interventions and teaching strategies for students with SEN Work closely with class teachers , SEN support staff , and external professionals to ensure effective support is in place for each student Help monitor and assess student progress , ensuring individual needs are met and adapting approaches accordingly Assist in the preparation of individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to regular reviews Be an advocate for inclusive education , promoting equality and access to learning for all students Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience in education (preferred) Experience working with students with special educational needs in a primary school setting A passion for supporting inclusive education and helping students achieve their full potential Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Experience with SEN assessments , interventions, and IEP development (desirable) Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
