Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and forward-thinking Design Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Lincoln . As a DT Teacher , you will teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5 , delivering a curriculum that promotes creativity, technical expertise, problem solving and hands-on practical learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a DT Teacher at any stage of their career to join a high-performing and well-supported school environment. The DT department is exceptionally well resourced, featuring modern workshops, CNC machinery, CAD/CAM equipment and specialist workspaces. The department has a strong reputation for innovation, high-quality project work and consistently strong examination results. Experience and Qualifications Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering or related field PGCE or QTS Experience teaching KS3/4 (KS5 desirable) Strong workshop safety awareness Ability to deliver creative, project-based learning Salary The salary for this DT Teacher position will be paid to scale in line with MPS/UPS .
