HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Prestigious Secondary School – Hillingdon Role: HLTA Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: April 2025 Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience) A prestigious secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and skilled HLTA to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school renowned for its high standards of academic excellence and a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse needs. You will play an essential role in assisting teachers and delivering high-quality support to students, contributing to their success and well-being. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a prestigious secondary school in Hillingdon Provide in-class support across a variety of subjects, working closely with teachers to ensure effective learning and student engagement Lead small group sessions, offering targeted interventions to students who need additional support Assist in planning and preparing lessons and resources to ensure all students have access to the curriculum Monitor student progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional learning needs Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting student confidence and independence Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external specialists to provide a holistic approach to student support Experience & Qualifications: HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential) Previous experience supporting students in a secondary school setting, ideally with students who have SEN or additional needs Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and the ability to adapt support for diverse learners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and teachers Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
