Job description
A thriving primary school in Hounslow is looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in April . This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEN provision , supporting students with a range of special educational needs and ensuring that they receive the highest standard of education in an inclusive and supportive environment. The Role: Delivering high-quality SEN teaching to students with a range of learning and developmental needs within a mainstream primary school setting. Supporting students in the SEN provision , delivering tailored lessons and interventions to help them reach their full potential. Working closely with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure individual education plans (IEPs) are implemented effectively and students' needs are met. Differentiating lessons and learning activities to ensure that all students, regardless of their needs, have access to the curriculum and are supported in their learning. Collaborating with class teachers to support the integration of SEN students into the wider classroom setting and create an inclusive learning environment. Monitoring and tracking student progress , providing feedback to parents and the senior leadership team, and adjusting strategies where needed. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary school setting. Proven experience working with SEN students , particularly in a specialist or inclusive classroom environment. Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, with the ability to implement them effectively to support student learning. Ability to work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants , and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Passionate about inclusive education and committed to providing the best possible learning experience for all students.
