Job description

A well-established and highly regarded independent school in Northamptonshire is seeking a full-time KS2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis . Location: Northamptonshire Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) ECTs: Applications from both experienced teachers and recently qualified teachers are welcome The Role The school is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled KS2 Teacher to join a dedicated team. You will teach across Key Stage 2 , delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires pupils. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across KS2. Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support curriculum development. Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support children’s learning. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 2 . Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress.
