Art Teacher – Independent School – Peterborough

The Head of this well-established and highly regarded independent school in Peterborough is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a creative and well-resourced Art department from January . Art is a valued subject within the school, with a strong emphasis on creativity, technical skill, and personal expression, supported by small class sizes and motivated pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for an Art Teacher who values the freedom to teach creatively, work closely with students, and contribute to a rich academic and co-curricular environment. The role would suit either an experienced independent school practitioner or a strong Art teacher from the maintained sector looking to transition into the independent sector. You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to GCSE and enrichment programmes. Lessons are delivered in well-equipped specialist spaces, and teachers are encouraged to develop ambitious projects that allow students to experiment, take creative risks, and refine their artistic voice.
