Year 4 Teacher | Merton

Wayman Education is seeking a committed Year 4 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Merton, with the role starting January 2026. This Year 4 Teacher will lead stimulating lessons, contribute to curriculum development and support pupils’ academic and personal growth. A full induction will be provided before January 2026 to support the Year 4 Teacher’s smooth transition. Responsibilities Teach well-planned Year 4 lessons with clear progression across all subjects. Provide effective feedback and maintain up-to-date assessment records. Collaborate on curriculum planning and share best practice within KS2. Lead small groups and differentiated activities to support varied learning needs. Engage in wider school initiatives and community events. Person specification QTS with a solid understanding of KS2 pedagogy. Evidence of strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
