Teaching Assistant – SEN Provision – Inclusive Secondary School – ASAP Start - Brent Role: Teaching Assistant Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: ASAP Salary: Dependent on experience An inclusive secondary school is seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their SEN provision as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping students with special educational needs to engage with the curriculum and thrive both academically and personally. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at an inclusive secondary school Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with a range of SEN Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and support strategies Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Help students develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills Support students with their personal care and mobility needs, as required Work collaboratively with the SEN team, teachers, and other staff to create and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) Experience & Qualifications: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable A genuine passion for working with young people with SEN Strong communication, patience, and empathy Ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive attitude and commitment to helping students succeed Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
