History Teacher - Westminster

About the History Department: The History department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for bringing history to life. We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of historical periods and themes. About the Role: Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the department's curriculum development. Foster a love of history in students. Work collaboratively with colleagues. Participate in professional development opportunities. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in History. Demonstrates a passion for teaching History. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
