Job description
We are working with a vibrant and diverse secondary school in Coventry recruiting for an energetic and highly organised School Receptionist. This is a school with a big heart and high aspirations, providing a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. As a member of the administrative team, you will be welcomed into a busy, collaborative office where the "family feel" is often cited as the school’s greatest strength. The leadership team understands the challenges of an urban school environment and ensures you are fully supported with a robust staff welfare strategy. The Role & Responsibilities You will be the hub of communication for the school, ensuring that information flows efficiently between staff, students, and parents. Triage & Enquiry Management: Managing a busy front desk, resolving parent queries efficiently, and escalating sensitive matters to the pastoral team. Safeguarding Hub: Taking a lead role in the daily monitoring of site access and ensuring all visiting speakers are vetted appropriately. Student Services: Managing the distribution of student lockers, lost property, and the school’s internal mail system. Administrative Support: Providing clerical assistance to the Senior Leadership Team, including data entry and report preparation. Salary & Contract Details Salary Range: £24,000 – £27,500 Contract: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
