Job description
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming and ambitious Primary School in Birmingham. This is a permanent role starting November 2025, offering the opportunity to guide pupils at a critical stage of KS1. Key Information Position: Year 2 Teacher Start Date: November 2025 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role As a creative and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher , you will deliver engaging lessons that challenge pupils and build confidence. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 2 Teacher , working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure all pupils reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a Year 2 Teacher Support and challenge pupils of all abilities Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment as a Year 2 Teacher Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community Contribute to the school’s ethos of high expectations, achievement, and care What We’re Looking For Hold QTS and understand the KS1 curriculum Are innovative, reflective, and enthusiastic as a Year 2 Teacher Can inspire pupils and foster a love of learning Thrive in a collaborative and supportive school environment What the School Offers A welcoming and ambitious school community Motivated and confident pupils Professional development opportunities for Year 2 Teachers Strong ethos of inclusion, achievement, and care How to Apply If you are a passionate and inspiring Year 2 Teacher ready to take on this permanent role in Birmingham, starting November 2025, we would love to hear from you.
