Job description
Start Date: January 2026 An ambitious secondary school in Essex is offering an exciting opportunity for a Business ECT to join its forward-thinking faculty from January 2026. The role is ideal for a motivated teacher keen to apply theory to real-world business scenarios. The Role You’ll teach Business across Key Stages 4 and 5, developing students’ understanding of enterprise, marketing, and finance. Comprehensive support is provided to ensure a successful start to your teaching career. The Department The Business department has a strong reputation for innovation and achievement. Teachers collaborate to deliver engaging lessons and coordinate enterprise events that enrich student learning. Responsibilities Teach Business Studies across KS4–KS5. Prepare students for examinations and coursework. Contribute to departmental resources and planning. Support enterprise clubs and activities. Engage in professional development and training. About You Business-related degree and QTS (or trainee status). Confident classroom presence and engaging teaching style. Committed to continuous improvement and teamwork.
