Economics Teacher - Lambeth Secondary School Salary: Competitive (details on application) Location: Lambeth, London Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Department: Economics/Social Sciences Job Title: Economics Teacher About the Role: A high-achieving secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join their successful Economics/Social Sciences department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The primary focus of this role is teaching Economics at Key Stage 5 (A-Level Economics), with the possibility of some Key Stage 4 teaching. The successful Economics Teacher will have excellent opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Economics lessons. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attainment. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues within the department. Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Adhere to all school safeguarding policies. Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching Economics at KS5 (A-Level). Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Economics. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
