Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Start Date: September 2025 Salary: MPS – Competitive & in line with experience Are you an enthusiastic Spanish Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for the perfect school to launch your teaching career? About the School This school has a strong commitment to language learning and international awareness, with a highly respected Modern Languages Department. Students are encouraged to develop a deep appreciation of Spanish language and Hispanic cultures through engaging lessons and interactive activities. The school offers structured support for Early Career Teachers, including mentorship, professional development opportunities, and CPD sessions. What’s On Offer? Your Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Work closely with a mentor to receive tailored guidance and professional support. Foster a love for Spanish language and Hispanic cultures through innovative and immersive teaching methods. Adapt lessons to support and challenge students of all abilities. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities such as language clubs and international trips. Who We Are Looking For A Spanish graduate with QTS (or working towards it). Passionate about teaching languages and inspiring students. A team-oriented educator with strong communication and organisational skills. Someone committed to continuous professional development and eager to grow as an educator.
