Job description
A well-established primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a permanent basis starting in April 2025 . This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant and inclusive school community, where your role will be integral in supporting student learning and development. The Role: Supporting students across the primary school in both 1:1 and small group settings to help them achieve their learning goals. Working closely with the class teacher to adapt and deliver lessons , ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum and feel included in classroom activities. Providing support for students with a range of learning needs , helping them build confidence and independence. Assisting in the preparation of learning resources and supporting classroom management to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Monitoring students’ progress and offering feedback to the class teacher and parents when required. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable. Strong understanding of child development and how to support learning across the primary age range. Patient, empathetic, and proactive in helping children achieve their potential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
