Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our thriving and forward-thinking Primary School in Rochester. This is a permanent role starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to support and inspire pupils at a key stage in their early education. Key Information Position: Year 1 Teacher Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our Key Stage 1 team. As a Year 1 Teacher , you will play a crucial role in helping pupils transition smoothly from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. You will deliver engaging and creative lessons that nurture curiosity, independence, and confidence, laying the foundations for future learning. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher, working closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure all children achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
