Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive and inclusive school? A well-regarded specialist provision in Harrow is seeking a full-time, permanent SEND Teacher to join their team from October half-term . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in a nurturing, structured environment. SEND Teacher – Harrow Start Date: After October Half-Term Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Harrow The School This welcoming and inclusive school in Harrow caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). The school is known for its strong leadership, collaborative staff team, and commitment to providing a creative, child-centred curriculum tailored to individual learning goals. Your Role - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to pupils’ individual learning needs. - Create a positive and structured classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and independence. - Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic support. - Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews, maintaining detailed and accurate records. - Communicate effectively with parents and carers to celebrate achievements and share progress. - Contribute to the ongoing development of a highly inclusive and supportive school culture. About You - Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent. - Previous experience working with children with SEND (particularly MLD or ASD). - A calm, patient, and flexible teaching style. - Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching and individualised learning strategies . - Excellent teamwork, organisation, and communication skills. - Passionate about ensuring every child can succeed, regardless of their starting point.
