Job description
A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Science ECT to join their thriving department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a newly-qualified teacher eager to start their career in an environment that values curiosity, discovery, and academic ambition. About the Role The appointed teacher will teach Science across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5. You will plan engaging, experiment-driven lessons that develop students’ practical understanding, analytical thinking, and enthusiasm for discovery. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will receive comprehensive induction support, including weekly mentoring, observation feedback, and access to professional development workshops. You will also have opportunities to participate in STEM clubs, science fairs, and environmental initiatives, helping to enrich the wider school community.
