Job description
Are you a motivated Drama Early Career Teacher looking to start your career in an independent school setting in Bath? We are partnering with a respected independent school to appoint a Drama Teacher to join their supportive and creative department. School Information The school in Bath offers a nurturing, inclusive, and academically focused environment with small class sizes and a strong emphasis on pastoral care, ensuring both students and staff feel valued and supported. About the Drama Department The Drama department is welcoming and collaborative, with a strong commitment to mentoring Early Career Teachers. You will receive structured guidance and professional support to help you develop outstanding classroom practice and confidence in performance-based teaching. Responsibilities • Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available) • Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons • Monitor, assess, and support student progress • Contribute to curriculum development and creative enrichment activities, including performances and productions Qualifications and Experience • Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject • PGCE with QTS (or pending) • ECT status • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills Salary and Benefits • Competitive independent school salary • Dedicated ECT mentoring and professional development support • Small class sizes and excellent facilities Application Please submit your CV to apply.
