Job description
Year 5 Teacher Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (April 2025 - July 2025, with the possibility of extension) We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our Outstanding school from 21st April 2025 until July 2025 , with the potential for the role to be extended. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Key Stage 2 students, in a school that is committed to providing high-quality education. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Assess and track student progress , providing targeted support and intervention to help pupils achieve their potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, ensuring a high standard of teaching across the school. Work closely with parents and the wider school community to support the academic and personal growth of each child. What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 2 , with a preference for Year 5 experience. A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Strong classroom management and communication skills . A commitment to nurturing the potential of every student, helping them to achieve their best.
