Job description
Are you currently training to teach Music and looking for a school that will nurture your career? A vibrant and creative Outstanding School in Milton Keynes is looking for a dedicated Music ECT to join their team in January . This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent ECT support, first-rate facilities, and a collaborative team environment. Music Teacher Teaching to KS3/4 Full time Permanent January start Outstanding School ECTs welcome to apply School Information This Outstanding School in Milton Keynes is known for its exceptional performing arts programme and commitment to creativity. The Music department is a lively, well-established team with access to rehearsal rooms, recording studios, and performance spaces. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, and may assist with A-Level music for more experienced students. The school runs an extensive extra-curricular programme including choirs, orchestras, and school concerts. ECTs benefit from a reduced timetable, personalised mentoring, and regular professional development sessions. The school’s leadership team is approachable and invested in your growth, providing a clear pathway to long-term progression. Experience and Qualifications PGCE with QTS or completing teacher training in Music Excellent understanding of music theory and performance Strong classroom management skills Passionate about inspiring musical creativity Salary The salary for this Music ECT position will be paid on the scale depending on experience.
