SEN Teacher – Exceptional SEN School – Bournemouth – September Start 📍 Location: Bournemouth 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS An exceptional and inclusive SEN school in Bournemouth is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who have a variety of additional needs, offering them tailored support in an environment that prioritizes their individual growth and success. Your Role as a SEN Teacher: 🔹 Deliver personalized lessons and interventions to students with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. 🔹 Work closely with SEN specialists and teaching assistants to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). 🔹 Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment where students can thrive. 🔹 Support the social and emotional development of students to build their confidence and independence. 🔹 Monitor student progress and work with parents and external agencies to ensure holistic support. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified SEN Teacher with QTS or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with students with SEND, particularly in an SEN setting. ✅ A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching. ✅ Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. ✅ Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
