Job description
Our client is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Business and Economics to join a thriving and high-achieving secondary school in Oxford. This is a full-time position , offering excellent mentoring and support to help launch your teaching career. ECT Business and Economics Teacher required to work full-time Outstanding mixed secondary school in Oxford Join a successful and well-resourced Business and Economics department with a structured ECT induction programme This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic new teacher to start their career in a school recognised for its academic success, innovation, and supportive culture. The successful candidate will teach both Business and Economics across KS4 and KS5, developing students’ analytical and entrepreneurial skills. Experience and Qualifications ECT Business and Economics Teacher (PGCE or equivalent completed) Strong subject knowledge and passion for business and finance education Dedication to professional development and inspiring young learners Legal right to work in the UK School Information This large and oversubscribed secondary school in Oxford is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. With over 1,400 students, including a flourishing Sixth Form, the school consistently achieves strong academic outcomes. In 2024, 76% of students achieved grades 9–5 in English and Maths, and the Business and Economics department achieved record A-Level results.
