Job description
We are seeking a professional and welcoming School Receptionist to join a highly regarded secondary school in Brighton as soon as possible. This is a full-time position within a supportive and well-organised school environment. School Receptionist required on a full-time basis Outstanding School in Brighton Front-of-house and administrative responsibilities ASAP start About the Role As the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff, you will ensure the reception area operates efficiently while maintaining a warm and professional atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include: • Greeting visitors and managing sign-in procedures • Answering and directing telephone calls and email enquiries • Supporting attendance and safeguarding processes • Managing incoming and outgoing post • Providing general administrative support to the office team Experience and Qualifications • Previous receptionist or administrative experience (school-based desirable) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office • Professional, organised, and approachable manner • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Outstanding school in Brighton is known for excellent behaviour, strong academic outcomes, and a collaborative staff culture.
