Job description
Science Teacher – Shropshire About the Role We are currently looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join our school in Shropshire. As a Science Teacher, you will teach students across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the opportunity to also teach Key Stage 5. The Science Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring that students develop a solid understanding of scientific concepts. You will be responsible for assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback. The Science Teacher will also play a role in supporting the wider science department by helping to develop new teaching materials. As a Science Teacher, you will work in a collaborative environment where your contribution to the department’s growth is valued. About the School This secondary school in Shropshire has a Good Ofsted rating and is committed to offering an exceptional education. The school has modern science facilities and a strong ethos of academic achievement. Requirements We are looking for a Science Teacher with a passion for the subject and experience in teaching at secondary school level. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification is essential. The ideal Science Teacher will be able to make science accessible and exciting for students.
