Job description
Are you an experienced HR professional looking to lead and develop people strategy within a respected independent school environment? This could be an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a well-established and supportive school community. • Prestigious independent school based in Dorset • HR Manager to oversee the school’s HR operations and strategy • Full-time, permanent position | April start Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Manager to join an independent school in Dorset from April. This is a senior operational role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who is confident managing the full employee lifecycle within an educational setting. The successful HR Manager will oversee recruitment, onboarding, compliance, contracts, payroll liaison, performance management, and employee relations. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure HR processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with the school’s values and strategic objectives. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, discreet, and confident advising senior leaders on HR best practice and employment legislation.
