DT Teacher – Thriving Secondary School – Bristol – April Start Location: Bristol | Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS A thriving secondary school in Bristol is looking for a talented and dynamic Design & Technology Teacher to join its successful DT department. The school offers a strong, practical curriculum and encourages students to explore their creativity and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects. Your Role as DT Teacher: • Teach Design & Technology to students in KS3 and KS4, focusing on various areas including Product Design, Graphics, and Resistant Materials. • Engage students with practical, project-based learning, encouraging innovation and creativity. • Support students in developing technical skills and preparing for their GCSE coursework. • Lead extracurricular activities such as design clubs, competitions, and workshops. • Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum to ensure it remains relevant and engaging. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified DT Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative and practical learning. • The ability to inspire and engage students through hands-on projects. • Strong classroom management and organizational skills. • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
