Job description
Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Start Date: September 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR Are you a dedicated Religious Education teacher with a passion for faith-based learning and curriculum leadership? The Role A highly respected faith-based secondary school in Bristol is seeking a Curriculum Lead for Religious Education to develop and deliver an engaging, values-driven RE curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a department that fosters theological literacy, moral reasoning, and interfaith understanding. You will play a vital role in ensuring that students develop a strong ethical foundation alongside academic excellence. Why Join This School? Organize faith-based events, retreats, and extracurricular activities to deepen students’ understanding of religious practice. Guide students through GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies, preparing them for further theological study or ethical leadership roles. Who We’re Looking For A dedicated and knowledgeable RE teacher with QTS and experience in curriculum development. A passionate educator who integrates faith, ethics, and theology into a meaningful learning experience. A natural leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire both students and staff.
