KS2 Teacher – Primary School, Leamington Spa Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Dependent on experience About the School This friendly and dynamic primary school in Leamington Spa is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive environment, and commitment to high-quality teaching . Pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a nurturing and structured setting. The school has a collaborative leadership team and a strong focus on staff development, creating an environment where teachers are supported, valued, and encouraged to be innovative . About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the school on a full-time maternity cover basis from January 2026 . You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2 , supporting pupils’ academic progress while fostering a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment . Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum Promoting a motivating and inclusive classroom atmosphere Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards Contributing to the wider life of the school , including events and enrichment activities This is an ideal role for a teacher who is passionate, adaptable, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of KS2 pupils. Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) Experience teaching Key Stage 2 , ideally Years 3–6 Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to create a supportive, engaging, and effective learning environment Legal right to work in the UK Application If you are a motivated and caring KS2 Teacher looking for a maternity cover opportunity in a supportive and welcoming Leamington Spa school , please send your CV to be considered for this role.
