Assistant Manager - Leading Family Entertainment Brand Located: York Salary: c£28k + Bonus Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for guests and ensuring they have a bouncing good time? This is a leisure job not to be missed! The premier destination for family fun, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join the team. If you have management experience within Food and Beverage, exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! No late nights or early starts! Responsibilities: Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and excellence in customer service. Stock Management: Oversee the GP% for the café, Stock control and ordering with a eye on keeping wastage to a minimum. Customer Satisfaction: Proactively engage with customers, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues promptly. Strive to exceed guest expectations and enhance their overall experience. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, food handling regulations, and licensing requirements. What are we looking for? At least of 2 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry. A Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Strong creative and organisational skills, with the ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table. A passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers. Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
