SEN Teacher – Mainstream Primary School – Kingston Role: SEN Teacher Nature: Permanent, Full-Time Start: ASAP Salary: MPS/ UPS + SEN A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a mainstream primary setting. You will work closely with a diverse group of students to ensure they receive the tailored support and encouragement they need to thrive academically and socially. As a SEN Teacher , you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with a range of SEN. You will work closely with support staff and collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive learning environment where every child is valued and supported in their learning journey. Role Highlights: Permanent, full-time position at a mainstream primary school in Kingston Plan and deliver individualized lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN Work alongside SEN support staff to provide tailored support and interventions Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel safe and encouraged Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents , external professionals , and other staff members to ensure holistic support for students Participate in ongoing professional development to further enhance your skills Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary school setting Experience working with SEN students in a mainstream or specialist setting preferred A strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated learning Excellent communication and collaborative skills Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
