Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher who thrives on high-impact teaching and strong relationships? A Manchester pupil referral unit needs a KS1 Teacher from January 2026 to deliver targeted KS1 provision, behaviour support and reintegration planning. The KS1 Teacher role is available as full-time or part-time; the KS1 Teacher will attend induction in January 2026, and teaching begins from January 2026. *** KS1 Teacher Manchester PRU *** KS1 Teacher January 2026 *** KS1 Teacher Permanent Role (Part-Time/Full-Time negotiable) Role summary - KS1 Teacher This KS1 Teacher will provide trauma-aware and bespoke KS1 teaching as the KS1 Teacher; run short, focused learning sessions as the KS1 Teacher; lead small-group interventions as the KS1 Teacher; and work closely with families and external agencies as the KS1 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher will plan before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and be teaching from January 2026. KS1 Teacher Requirements • QTS/PGCE or equivalent and proven experience as a KS1 Teacher in challenging contexts. • Confident phonics delivery and small-group teaching skills for the KS1 Teacher. • Strong behaviour strategies and multi-agency experience; available to begin planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities • Deliver scaffolded KS1 lessons and ensure progress as the KS1 Teacher. • Implement individual behaviour plans and restorative practice as the KS1 Teacher. • Maintain accurate records, complete assessments and lead transitions back to mainstream where appropriate as the KS1 Teacher.
