The Role As an ECT, you will: Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons tailored to KS1 or KS2 students. Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, inspired, and eager to learn. Assess and track progress, providing constructive feedback to support student development. Encourage independence and critical thinking, preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey. Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, best practices, and contribute to the wider school community. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, celebrating student progress and addressing any challenges. Engage in professional development and take advantage of excellent mentoring opportunities. What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Passion for teaching in KS1 or KS2 and a commitment to inspiring young learners. A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching. A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
