Job description
A welcoming and well-established secondary school in Liverpool is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised School Receptionist to join their front office team. This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP and offers the opportunity to play a central role in the daily life of a thriving school community. About the Role As the School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. You will manage the reception area efficiently, ensuring that all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally while maintaining a warm and approachable manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment. You will work closely with the administrative team and senior leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities • Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding sign-in procedures are followed • Answering and directing telephone calls and email enquiries • Managing student attendance queries and late arrivals • Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries • Providing administrative support to staff and leadership • Assisting with the organisation of meetings, events, and parent evenings • Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies About the School This Liverpool secondary school is known for strong academic standards, excellent pastoral care, and a supportive staff culture.
