Job description
A large and well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Leeds is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior School Administrator to join its central office team. The school is known for its clear behaviour systems, structured leadership and strong pastoral support, and the administrative team plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of daily operations. This is a varied and responsible position suited to a confident administrator who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. The Role As Senior School Administrator, you will provide high-level administrative support across several key areas of school life. You will work closely with senior leaders, pastoral staff and teaching colleagues to ensure systems are efficient and compliant. Your responsibilities will include: • Overseeing pupil data management using the school’s MIS system • Coordinating examination entries and internal assessment records • Managing attendance reporting and documentation • Supporting safeguarding administration and compliance checks • Handling parent enquiries and correspondence • Assisting with school events, open evenings and reporting cycles • Providing guidance and support to junior administrative staff The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work proactively in a busy environment.
