Job description
A highly reputable independent day school in Camden, Central London, known for its ethical study and strong academic results, seeks an inspirational Religious Studies Teacher starting January 2026. This role focuses on developing pupils' critical and philosophical thinking within a supportive setting. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive Religious Studies teaching across all Key Stages (3-5), including rigorous preparation for Philosophy and Theology at A-Level. Cultivate pupils' ethical understanding, critical thinking, and structured debate skills. Actively participate in the school's academic programme, contributing to intellectual and ethical discussions. Provide targeted academic guidance to pupils, supporting strong examination results and university entrance. Take on pastoral responsibility within a student group, supporting pupil welfare and progress. Requirements A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or Philosophy, and successful teaching experience up to A-Level. Proven ability to maintain a focused and disciplined learning environment.
