English and Drama Teacher | Independent School | Bristol The Opportunity An exceptional independent school in Bristol is looking to appoint an inspiring English and Drama Teacher to join its thriving Arts and Humanities community. This role offers the chance to teach motivated, articulate students in an environment where academic ambition, creativity and pastoral care sit at the heart of school life. Why This Role Stands Out Small class sizes that allow for ambitious, discussion-rich teaching Students who are curious, respectful and eager to participate Excellent facilities for theatre, performance and literary study Strong culture of professional trust and development Extensive co-curricular programme including productions, clubs and competitions What You’ll Be Doing Teaching English and Drama across KS3–KS5 Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations Directing or supporting performances, showcases and productions Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment Providing pastoral support as part of the wider school community Who We’re Looking For You will be: A knowledgeable graduate in English, Drama or a related discipline Passionate about literature, theatre and the power of communication Skilled at inspiring high standards of analysis, interpretation and performance Organised, reflective and keen to collaborate with colleagues Committed to inclusive practice and student wellbeing QTS, PGCE or an equivalent qualification is expected, along with the right to work in the UK.
