Job description
Religious Education Teacher – Outstanding School – Dagenham Religious Education Teacher required for January 2026 Full-time, permanent position Teach at one of the UK’s most successful and rapidly expanding schools We are working with a high-performing, mixed state school in Dagenham , to recruit a passionate and engaging Religious Education Teacher to join their growing team from January 2026 . This role has opened as part of the school’s exciting expansion and commitment to delivering outstanding education to all pupils. You will teach a broad and inclusive RE curriculum from KS3 to KS5 , with a focus on diversity, tolerance, ethics, and world religions. Every student at KS4 takes GCSE Religious Education, reflecting the school’s ethos of respect, inclusion, and academic ambition. School Information: Large and expanding 4–18 comprehensive school Located in Dagenham, Essex (RM8) with excellent transport links Exceptional facilities, with ongoing investment in expansion and innovation Strong community values with a focus on academic excellence and holistic education Consistently strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes The Role: Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3–5 Collaborate with a passionate and supportive Humanities department Experience and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Religious Education to students aged 11–16 (KS3/4), KS5 desirable Strong subject knowledge and excellent planning and organisational skills A passion for RE and a commitment to inclusion and diversity Strong behaviour management and a proactive classroom presence To be considered for this Religious Education Teacher position, please send your CV as soon as possible .
