A well-regarded secondary school in Reading is looking to appoint a School Administration Assistant to support daily operations across the school from January 2026 . The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a school known for its inclusive ethos and high standards. School Administration Assistant Full-time, term-time + inset days January 2026 start Welcoming and professional environment Excellent administrative support systems in place School Information This large comprehensive school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and serves a diverse and vibrant community. The leadership team is committed to staff wellbeing and professional growth. The administration team provides vital support across admissions, attendance, finance, and general office duties. The school offers regular CPD sessions for support staff and a strong sense of teamwork throughout departments. Experience and Qualifications Experience in an administrative role (school experience desirable) Excellent organisational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Friendly and professional manner when dealing with parents, staff, and pupils 5 GCSEs including English and Maths Salary Paid to scale on the local support staff pay structure .
